Vibe Communications is owned
and operated by Vic Beck, an award-winning strategic communication and public relations executive who has been prominently
featured in PRWeek magazine, PRSA Tactics magazine, the Boston
Globe and other media outlets.
He has more than 20 years of experience developing and implementing communication plans and strategies at agencies, in
corporations and in the military. Vic speaks regularly about communication and will be presenting at PR Daily’s 3rd Annual PR and Media Relations Best Practices

Agency – Vic has worked with dozens of clients during his tenure
at five public relations agencies. Some of his accomplishments include coordinating media relations for Lycos prior
to the company’s Initial Public Offering (IPO) and opening the Boston office for an international high-tech PR agency.
He has worked on numerous national and international communication campaigns and projects. Corporate – As the head of corporate communications
for ATG (Art Technology Group, Nasdaq: ARTG) he spearheaded the most successful product launch in company history. At
ePresence (Nasdaq: EPRE; formerly Banyan Systems, Nasdaq: BNYN), it was Vic's communication activities that significantly
raised the profile of the corporation, ending in its acquisition by Unisys. He also oversaw the PR strategy, implementation
and activities conducted by Switchboard Incorporated (Nasdaq: SWBD), a Banyan company, prior to and during the company’s
IPO. Military – Vic is a
Rear Admiral in the Navy Reserve who serves as the Vice Chief of Information for the Department of the Navy.
He is in charge of leading
the Navy Reserve Public Affairs program worldwide. He is also the primary advisor and principal reserve
liaison to the Chief of Information, responsible for formulating and providing strategic communication counsel to Navy leadership.
Vic has been mobilized twice in recent years to run the international news and public affairs operations during the
surges in Afghanistan and Iraq. In Kabul he was the Director of Public Affairs for headquarters NATO, International
Security Assistance Force and U.S. Forces in Afghanistan from Nov 10 – Sep 11. In Baghdad he was
the Chief of Media Operations at headquarters Multi-National Force Iraq from Aug 07 – Apr 08. In
Dubai he was the Director of an International Media Engagement Team for U.S. Central Command from Apr – Aug 07.
During his 26-year Navy Reserve
career Vic has been actively involved in several major military public affairs activities
around the world. He has earned more than 15 medals for personal achievement, including the Defense Superior
Service Medal, the Legion of Merit and a Bronze Star.
